DALLAS (AP) — Southwest Airlines has resumed flights at Dallas Love Field after early-morning delays blamed on ice and snowy conditions.

The National Weather Service on Tuesday issued a winter weather advisory for the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Hundreds of flights were grounded or delayed in North Texas due to the winter weather.

Dallas-based Southwest suspended operations for about two hours at Love Field but restored its regular schedule by shortly before 8 a.m. Tuesday.

A spokeswoman says American Airlines and American Eagle canceled 343 flights Tuesday at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport before conditions started improving.
