Southwest Lubbock Intersection to Close For Widening Project
A southwest Lubbock intersection will close next week for widening.
The intersection of 114th Street and Milwaukee Avenue will close on Tuesday, January 14th, and will remain closed for around four weeks.
Drivers are asked to detour to Farm-to-Market Road 1585, according to the City of Lubbock.
The intersection will be rebuilt as part of the Milwaukee widening project. The entire project area will be opened to traffic after this closure.
