South Plains College to Host 25th Annual Camp Bluegrass

South Plains College will host an annual camp next week focused on a particular type of music for musicians across the country.
The 25th Annual Camp Bluegrass will be held Sunday through Friday at the Levelland campus. The camp is designed to improve individual skills of banjo, guitar, and mandolin players, and there are classes provided for fiddle and bass as well.
There will be structured one-hour daily jam sessions led by faculty, who will select the tunes, keys, and tempos.
Campers stay in dorms on campus or in nearby RV sites.
Some of the instructors include Bill Evans, Chris Jones, Joe Carr, and Mark Stoffel.
