South Plains College Crowns 2012 Homecoming King and Queen

The 54th South Plains College Homecoming King and Queen were crowned February 9th during the Lady Texans’ basketball against Midland College. Michaela Ingram of Littlefield Texas and Tyrone Johnson of Dallas were crowned at halftime Thursday.

They competed against twenty other nominees for the honor. Michaela is the daughter of Frank and Kathleen Ingram, and Tyrone is the son of Pete Bible and Brenda Johnson.

The pair represented the Black Student Organization, and competed against representatives of organizations like Campus Ambassadors, SPC Symphonic Band, SPC Student Government Association and Phi Theta Kappa.
