Snyder Resident Dies in Motorcycle Wreck

A motorcyclist is dead after a wreck in Scurry County.

Forty-nine year-old Jimmy Joe Fowler, a Snyder resident, did not negotiate a curve properly, and rolled his motorcycle.

Fowler was thrown from the 2003 Harley Davidson, just before 9:30 p.m. Thursday on Farm to Market Road 1673.

Fowler was pronounced dead at Cogdell Memorial Hospital just after 10 p.m.

He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. More on this story as it develops.
