Slide Road to Close in South Lubbock This Week

Beginning Wednesday Slide Road will experience daytime lane closures between 98th St. and FM 1585 in South Lubbock as Texas Department of Transportation crews effect pavement repairs.

The two-mile stretch of road will be reduced to one lane of traffic and TxDOT personnel will direct traffic through the lane with a pilot car.

TxDOT anticipates repairs to take two to three days to complete, weather permitting.
