Paramedics were on hand to do chest compressions to resuscitate a player who collapsed during a football game Friday night.

According to Everythinglubbock.com and Brownfield News, the stadium was silent as paramedics did their work.

The player was brought to the hospital, but his name has not been officially released.

The report says three Slaton players in all were injured seriously enough to require a hospital trip Friday night during the game.

The game was called with several minutes left in the 4th quarter after the third and most serious injury.
