Skeletal Remains Found Those of Colorado City, Texas Teen Hailey Dunn

Remains found in Scurry County are that of a missing Colorado City teenager.

Skeletal remains found near Lake J.B. Thomas on March 16^th belong to 13-year-old Hailey Dunn, who went missing on December 27^th, 2010.

Dunn was reported as missing on December 28^th by her mother, Billie Dunn. Shawn Adkins, Billie Dunn’s former live-in boyfriend, has been named as a person of interest by investigators, but has not been charged with any crime.

Billie Dunn was arrested in March of 2011 after police say she lied about the whereabouts of Adkins. Dunn pleaded no contest and received a 90-day jail term, which was probated for one year.

The teenager’s skeletal remains were identified by DNA records.
