Red Steagall’s Cowboy Corner is a KFYO tradition.  We’ve aired the show for over two decades.

Red’s Official Bio

For the past 40 years, Red Steagall has entertained around the globe as a recording artist, songwriter, television and motion picture personality. In 1991, the Texas State Legislature selected Mr. Steagall as the “Official Cowboy Poet of Texas.”

The Texas Commission on the Arts named Red the Poet Laureate for the State of Texas for the year 2006.

His legendary Texas Swing dance music has made him a favorite among cowboys. And critics across America have referred to Cowboy Corner as “masterful.” Red’s love for our great western heritage and the cowboy way have made Cowboy Corner a truly authentic western celebration.

Lubbock Police Searching for Suspect in Fatal Hit and Run

UPDATED 5:50p, March 10, 2015

Lubbock Police have announced they have found a suspect in Sunday's deadly hit-and-run accident.

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of 35 year-old Anthony Acosta for the charge of Failure to Stop and Render Aid.

Earlier on Monday, detectives found the 2001 Chevy Monte Carlo involved in the hit-and-run.  The vehicle was seized by police and being processed for evidence.

The Lubbock Police Department urges anyone with information about this case or the whereabouts of Anthony Acosta to call the Lubbock Crime Line at 741-1000.
