Should You Get a Flu Shot?

This is National Influenza Vaccination Week.  By now, you’ve probably seen signs at your pharmacy offering the vaccine.  In an interview on KFYO, Dr. Raymond Strikas from the Centers for Disease Control said the vaccination is effective and safe.

“Adverse events or side effects are very uncommon, usually limited to sore arms or a few aches and pains.  You cannot get the flu from the flu vaccine, any kind of flu vaccine."
