Should There Be a Law Banning Texting and Driving? [POLL]

We have all heard about the dangers of texting and driving. In Lubbock and throughout most of the state, it is illegal to text while driving in an active school zone. There is also a ban on texting and driving for all 16-18 year olds. However, the state is looking at making the act illegal for all ages and at all times while driving. We have discussed the activists who want this bill passed, but there are others who say it’s not needed. Opponents say that there are already laws on the books and a new ban on texting and driving would be nearly impossible to enforce.

So, should texting and driving be illegal in Texas? Comment and take our LFN Poll of the Day below.
