Attorney General Eric Holder wrote to Senator Rand Paul on Tuesday that the President does have the authority to kill U.S. citizens on U.S. soil with a drone strike. That response fueled Senator Paul's filibuster on Wednesday. Senator Ted Cruz and others questioned Holder over the policy as well on Wednesday. According to Holder, the President would have the authority if an emergency were to arise.
