Should the Lubbock City Council Pass an Expanded Smoking Ban? [POLL]

The West Texas Smoke Free Coalition is pushing for a new ban on smoking in Lubbock that would go much further than the current ordinance. Matthew Harris appeared on The Chad Hasty Show Thursday to explain what his organization wants. In a nutshell, if you have employees, the group wants to ban smoking at your bar, restaurant, bingo hall, and cigar lounge. Harris said the group doesn't want to ban smoking on patios or other outdoor areas, but if it is an enclosed area they want it banned.

Harris says the WTSFC is looking out for the health of employees.
