Texas Tech Athletic Director Kirby Hocutt approached Regents at Texas Tech about selling beer and wine at Texas Tech home football games and on Thursday, Regents approved the plan. The plan to sell beer and wine means fans will not be allowed to exit and re-enter the stadium. Hocutt reported to the Board of Regents that other schools that have allowed beer sales have seen the number of binge drinking cases fall.
