Conservatives have been looking for that "conservative alternative" to Mitt Romney, and right now that person looks to be Rick Santorum. Santorum has the momentum and has been winning many states including Oklahoma and Tennessee on Super Tuesday. Santorum also came in second place in Ohio losing by only a percentage point to Mitt Romney. Gingrich will argue that he is the true alternative and that he has won states too including his home state of Georgia last night.

Time is running out though to find that alternative. Romney has a big lead and still has a lot of money. If conservatives want to beat Romney, they need to rally behind one candidate soon. Until they do, Santorum and Gingrich only help Romney by staying in he race.

So what do you think? Should Newt Gingrich drop out?
