Pressure is being applied to both Dan Branch and David Dewhurst to drop out of their respective runoff elections. Yesterday it was widely reported that Branch received a letter signed by 14 Republican State lawmakers urging him to drop out of the race for Attorney General. In the letter, the Republicans point to "party unity" as a reason why Branch should drop out. Lt. Governor David Dewhurst has also seen pressure to drop out of his reelection bid in favor of State Senator Dan Patrick. If they were to stay in the race, both candidates would be facing an uphill battle to win their respective runoff elections.

Do you think both Branch and Dewhurst should drop out? Let us know in today's KFYO Poll of the Day.
