Should City Council Races be Nonpartisan? [POLL]

Cole Shooter, KFYO.com

Yesterday I received an email from a listener regarding the Lubbock City Council and political labels. On Wednesday’s show I had discussed the Obama-driven organization called, Battleground Texas, and their fight to turn Texas blue. I had mentioned that this group will likely attempt to get candidates to run for local offices around the state first, before they try anything big.

The listener who emailed me would like to see labels next to the candidates name when voting. I’ve actually had many listeners say the exact same thing to me. They want to know if local candidates are Republican or Democrat. What do you think?
