Severe Thunderstorm Watch in Effect for This Evening

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued until 9 o'clock tonight for the central and eastern portions of the South Plains, including Lubbock and Hale counties; the Permian Basin, Big Country and Texas Panhandle regions.

These storms could produce hail up to 2" in size.
