Senator John Cornyn Asks Texans to Talk About Their Insurance Coverage and Obamacare

A U.S. Senator from Texas is asking for the public’s input regarding their health insurance.

Senator John Cornyn’s office issued a release Monday morning asking for Texans’ experiences regarding how their insurance policies have been affected by the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare.

“If you like your health-care plan, you’ll be able to keep your health-care plan, period,” said President Barack Obama on June 15^th, 2009. “No one will take it away, no matter what.”

Cornyn responded on his Senate website, saying “Now everyone, including the White House, knows that the President’s claim was objectively false.”

The responses will be sent to President Obama by Cornyn.
