Senator Cornyn Announces Grant for Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport

Lubbock’s airport will receive a sizable federal grant for improvements.
Texas U.S. Senator John Cornyn this afternoon announced a $100,000 grant for the Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport, coming from the Federal Aviation Administration.
The funds will be used to address maintenance and safety improvements, such as a Wildlife Hazard Assessment.
Senator Cornyn said “Quality transportation services are important for boosting local economic growth. I commend the area leaders who worked to secure this funding.”
