Search for Alleged Lubbock Abductor Continues

Tuesday, April 7, just after 3 p.m. the Lubbock Police Department received a call from the Stripes Convenience Store at 202 50th near Ave. A about an abduction.

Upon arrival, officers found a 12-year-old girl hiding in the restroom claiming to have been abducted by a suspect she described as a black male standing 6’ tall and weighing 220 pounds.

The suspect was seen in surveillance footage wearing a black shirt with white text printed on it; black shorts; and black shoes.

Police said he was driving a four-door passenger car with chrome, after-market wheels.
