Wednesday on Lubbock's First News, Nancy Neil offered details on Safety City's upcoming Trick or Treat Street.

Safety City will host Trick or Treat Street on October 25 from 6:00 to 8:30 pm. It is free and open to the public. The event offers a safe environment for parents to take children around to miniature buildings to collect Halloween treats. Neil said, "Safety City is a miniature town with three store fronts and traffic lights and crosswalks and those types of things." 21 groups of volunteers will be going to the small city to give candy out. It is located on 46th and Avenue U on the East side of Clapp Park.
