The City of Lubbock Code Enforcement Department is reminding the public about rules and regulations regarding outdoor political signs.

Political signs up to 36 square feet can be placed on private property, as long as they do not create view obstructions for pedestrians on sidewalks or drivers on the street.

Political signs cannot be placed on public property, such as parks or in the public right of way. Signs that are incorrectly placed will be picked up by Code Enforcement and stored at City Hall in Room 105.
