Wednesday on The Chad Hasty Show, Andrew Roth, Vice President of Government Affairs for The Club for Growth joined guest host Matt Crow on the program to talk about the new tax reform bill and other current topics in Washington.

During his explanation of what the tax bill will actually do, Roth said,

The Democrats are going to have a very difficult time in the fall next year, explaining why the booming economy and low unemployment is bad, because that's precisely what they're saying right now about this tax bill.

Roth and Crow discussed several other topics, including DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals), rumors that Speaker of the House Paul Ryan may be considering leaving the House, the chances of a government shutdown in the near future, and more.

While answering Crow's question about the quality of personnel staffing President Trump's legal and legislative teams, Roth said,

The president did a heck of a job staffing up his team, so if there's one thing that we can be confident about, it's that there are very smart, competent people in the White House who are pushing for conservative policy, and more importantly, they're trying to drain 'The Swamp' just as much as Trump wants to.
