Ronald McDonald House To Benefit From Upcoming Color Me Rad Run [Audio]

Thursday on Lubbock's First News, Haily Assiter with the Ronald McDonald House gave the details on how to participate in and who is benefitting from the Color Me Rad Run next month.

Color Me Rad and the Ronald McDonald House are partnering to host the run on October 19th at 9:00 am at Mackenzie Park. The Ronald McDonald House (RMH) is the charity that will benefit from funds raised. When registering for the walk/run, enter the promo code rmhc25 to get a 10% discount off the $45 dollar entry and to ensure that RMH will get 15% from all entries. They will also benefit from those who register to volunteer with that same promo code. For every volunteer registered, RMH will receive $75. For every one of six super-volunteers registered (those who manage volunteers and stay for the entire event), RMH will receive $100.

Assiter noted "all the funds that we receive through all of our fundraisers... stay local... We are a large house for families to stay at while they have a critically ill or injured child in the hospital. This is a way for them to stay for free, no charge, close to their child."
