Robbery Suspect Arrested Near Texas Tech Campus

A 26 year-old man was arrested in Lubbock after a robbery during the overnight hours.

Mathew Robles allegedly pulled a knife on a person in the 900 block of Avenue U around 1:45 this morning.  Robles took the victim’s keys, and other property, and fled by foot to the 2200 block of Glenna Goodacre.  That’s where Robles was spotted by police and arrested.

Robles was charged with Aggravated Robbery which is a second degree felony, and misdemeanor theft.
