Texas State Fair Ride Shut Down After Injury [Video]
A ride called "Crazy Mouse" lost a wheel and hit a man working at the Texas State Fair.
A Midway worker at the State Fair of Texas was injured Monday (Oct. 12) after a piece of a ride broke off and hit him.
According to NBCDFW 5, a piece broke off and hit the worker in the legs. He was flown to Baylor Medical Center in Dallas with non life-threatening injuries.
After the incident, the ride shut down with people on board. All of the passengers who were on the ride at the time walked down the stairway to safety.
Fair organizers say the rides go through safety testing every day and this one had just been tested.
