A Republican candidate for Texas Attorney General will hold a meet and greet Saturday morning.

State Senator Ken Paxton will hold the meet and greet at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, August 3rd at the Egg and I, located at 19th Street and Quaker Avenue.

A light breakfast and pastries will be provided for attendees.

Paxton will also attend a Republican Party of Texas luncheon in Lubbock later that day, which features George P. Bush, Texas Land Commissioner candidate, as a keynote speaker.

So far, Paxton, a state senator from McKinney, will face off against State Rep. Dan Branch and Texas Railroad Commissioner Barry Smitherman in the 2014 Republican Primary for Texas Attorney General.
