State Representative John Frullo will serve on a committee that addresses human trafficking. Frullo was appointed to the joint interim committee to Study Human Trafficking by Texas House Speaker Joe Straus. The committee will work to develop ways the Legislature, law enforcement, and human rights groups can work together to fight human trafficking. Human trafficking is the fastest growing illegal enterprise next to drug dealing in the states. It is estimated that 200,000 American children are at risk of sex-trafficking each year.
