Wednesday on The Chad Hasty Show, Representative Darrell Issa (R-CA) joined the show to talk about the Republican primaries. Issa is out on the campaign trail working in support of Senator Marco Rubio to be the GOP nominee.

Issa talked with Chad about his history and personal experience with Rubio, and provided many reasons as to why he believes Rubio would make the best choice for the Republicans.

While discussing the standings and scenarios between the three leaders: Donald Trump, Senator Ted Cruz, and Senator Marco Rubio, Issa gave his reasons for supporting Rubio. Issa said,

Do I believe that Senator Cruz or Senator Rubio is going to drop out before Super Tuesday? No I do not. But we're going to have to have a consolidation after that. And the best way to have that is for people to really soul search on who they believe is going to be the most unlike, and I repeat the most unlike, President Obama. Who's going to be a uniter, not a divider. Who's going to be positive about America, and at the same time, who's going to be very careful with his words when you're dealing with Putin and ISIS and all these other problems created by this administration. I strongly believe that's Marco Rubio.

Issa also answered questions about Rubio's stand on illegal immigration, and the controversial "Gang of Eight" reform bill.

The Rubio campaign is holding two upcoming Rubio rallies in the state of Texas, one in Dallas, the other in Houston. For those interested in obtaining credentials to attend the rallies, details are below.
