“I’m not surprised.”

That was the response from Rep. Randy Neugebauer on Lubbock’s First News on KFYO when asked for his reaction to the Super Committee’s failure to reach an agreement  on deficit reduction.  Then he was asked if he would try to block the automatic spending cuts that are supposed to occur as a result of the committee’s failure.

The automatic cuts are supposed to include cuts in both domestic and defense spending.
