In his presidential campaign, Governor Rick Perry has proposed term limits for members of congress.   On Lubbock’s First News on KFYO, Rep. Randy Neugebauer, who has endorsed Perry for president, had this reaction.

“As one of the longest serving governors in the state of Texas, I thought that was kind of an interesting thing for him to bring up.”

Neugebauer said the Founding Fathers gave us term limits in the form of an election every two years for members of the house.

“If the people are paying attention to the people that are representing them,   and they’re not doing the jo

b they should be doing, their term could be limited to two years."
