Rep. Jodey Arrington Touts Win For Cotton Farmers, Spending Bill Passage [INTERVIEW]

Friday on The Chad Hasty Show Representative Jodey Arrington joined the broadcast to talk about the serious progress being made on spending in Washington, with the passage of a two-year spending plan and what it means.

Arrington and Hasty discussed the badly needed funding assurances for the military, what passage means for the national debt, and how West Texas ag producers will benefit from the measures.

About the protections for cotton in the bill, Arrington said,

Chad, this is a game changer. [It means] billions, billions to this region. It's obviously who we are as West Texans, it's our history, our heritage, and it's our future. There's nothing bigger for our region than that, and there's nothing more import for our country than our troops. I see this, on balance, as a big win.
