A Texas Tech football player has received conference honors.

Junior quarterback Seth Doege has been named the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season.

The honor comes after the Red Raiders’ 41-38 victory over the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma.

Doege scored four touchdowns, and completed 33 of 52 passes for 441 yards, helping to break Oklahoma’s 39-game winning streak at home.

The Wolfforth native was selected as the Offensive Player of the Week earlier this year following his performance while playing New Mexico.

He was also named as the Walter Camp Football Association Offensive Player of the Week for the second time for the season as well.
