Rebuilding of 34th Street to Begin Soon

On Lubbock’s First News on KFYO, councilman Paul Beane said the total rebuilding of 34^th Street will begin right after the first of the year.  It will be a challenge for business owners along the way.

“It going to be tough, but all businesses will remain open,” Beane said. “There will be entrances to all businesses all along 34^th Street at all times.”

Beane expects it will take more than a year to rebuild of 34^th Street, and then, Beane said:

“Wow, it’ll be great.”
