Monday on Lubbock's First News with Tom Collins and Laura Mac, Representative Randy Neugebauer joined the show to talk about current events in the news.

The trio discussed the attack on a Paris, France bound train that was foiled by several people, including three Americans, two of those three being American military members.

Also discussed were the increasing tensions between North and South Korea, China's weakening economy, and the race in the 2016 Presidential election, including Hillary Clinton's decreasing popularity on the Democratic side.

About the apparent terrorist attack on the Paris-bound train, Neugebauer said,

These 'lone-wolf' ah incidents are going to only increase in frequency. And I think what these three Americans pointed out to all of us is, we're all going to have to have situational awareness.
