Railroad Crossing Work Requires I-27 Frontage Road Closure

Work on an area railroad crossing will require a road closure, according to TxDOT.

The northbound I-27 frontage road near Erskine Street in Lubbock will be closed to traffic on Thursday, November 14^th.

The closure will allow the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad Company to complete repair work on the railroad crossing located just south of Erskine.

Traffic will be detoured via Municipal Drive. The repairs are expected to be completed by the end of the day on Thursday, weather permitting.
