On Wednesday's edition of Lubbock's First News, Hailey Assiter from the Ronald McDonald House talked with Tom Collins and Laura Mac about the 2013 Quarterback Sack Attack.

The 2013 season of Texas Tech Red Raider football will be kicking off next week, and for the 12th year in a row, Ronald McDonald House will be hosting their Quarterback Sack Attack fundraiser. Assiter explained that every time the Texas Tech defense sacks the quarterback of the opposing team, a cash donation will be made to the Ronald McDonald House. The Ronald McDonald House has been in Lubbock for 25 years, providing a place for families of severely ill children to stay while their children get the medical care they need.

To participate in the Quarterback Sack, sign up at pledgesackwin.com. Participants can make either a one-time donation or pledge a certain amount for every sack of the season. For more information on Ronald McDonald House and the services they provide, visit their website at rmhcsouthwest.com.
