Tuesday on Lubbock's First News, Jett Rodgers, with the Pride of West Texas Show Chorus, gave details of their upcoming Christmas Dessert Show.

The event will be held December 2, at 7 p.m., at the Science Spectrum. Tickets to the show are $15 each. The Chorus will be joined by The Singing Plainsmen, Crossfire, Blown Away, and The Ties That Bind. For the Christmas event, Rodgers said, "We are celebrating all the holidays of the year." The show will include an intermission for mingling and raffle drawing.

The Pride of West Texas Show Chorus is a group of women that gather to sing "barbershop music." The group participates in competitions and performs for various local events. More information can be found on their website.
