A traffic stop in Potter County resulted in the seizure of drugs, weapons and counterfeit currency.

On Saturday, August 2, 2014, a DPS trooper pulled over a 2014 Dodge Avenger traveling east on Interstate Highway 40 near Bushland for a traffic violation around 11 a.m.

Details were not released about how the officer discovered the contraband, but the stop yielded more than 67 ounces of liquid-cocaine, two handguns, and $6,000 in counterfeit U.S. currency.

The trooper arrested all three occupants of the vehicle – Kendrick Lavelle,28, of Dallas, Soporio Wynese Young, 32, of Duncanville, Texas, and Jonathen Lee Prince, 28, of Los Angeles, California. All three were booked into the Potter County Jail.
