Portion of Milwaukee Avenue Closed for Repairs

Another Lubbock street is closed for repairs.

Milwaukee Avenue between 98^th Street and 114^th Street will be closed to through traffic from Thursday, June 14^th through Saturday, June 16^th.

This section of road is undergoing pavement repairs, and the City of Lubbock expects that Milwaukee Avenue will reopen to traffic on Sunday, June 17^th.

On the other end of the city, 15^th Street west of Avenue O and Main Street is expected to remain closed for utility line work for another week. The work is part of the downtown redevelopment project.
