Portion of Eastbound 34th Street to Close During Overnight Hours

Lanes of a major Lubbock thoroughfare will close during the nighttime hours this week.

The eastbound lanes of 34^th Street between University Avenue and Avenue V will be closed from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. beginning on Tuesday, May 21^st.

The closure will last for three consecutive nights, according to the City of Lubbock.

The work is part of the ongoing 34^th Street Rehabilitation Project. Motorists are advised to find alternate routes.
