This morning on the show we discussed a story about censorship and political correctness.  NewSouth Books' edition of Huckleberry Finn will be coming out soon with a new edition that removes the "n" word from the book.  It replaces that word with the word, slave.  They are doing this to update the book and apparently because it's the 21st century.

What a terrible idea.

The book wasn't written for the 21st century and is a reflection of it's time.  This is what happens when you let people run free and spread this PC crap at will.  Re-writing books so people won't be offended?  Here's an idea, how about you start with the Rap music community and target the use of the "n" word first?  Then, maybe we can look at books.
