Wednesday, June 17, around 11 p.m. eight people were injured when a pickup truck crashed in to a home on the 2500 block of 93rd St.

Emergency Crews on the scene told KAMC News that two adults and a 9-month old child were trapped under debris in the home, while a 4-year-old was thrown into a different bedroom following the impact of the crash.

The two adults reportedly suffered serious injuries. All four occupants of the home were taken to UMC. No further information about the victims has been released.

The driver of the pickup truck and three passengers were taken to Covenant with only minor injuries.

Police told KAMC News that the driver who has not yet been identified, but will face intoxication assault charges. LPD continues to investigate.
