Pianist George Winston to Perform Benefit Concert at Texas Tech
A notable pianist will perform a benefit concert at Texas Tech.
George Winston will play at Texas Tech’s Hemmle Recital Hall on Tuesday, February 4th at 7:30 p.m.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Friends of Music, and will go toward a scholarship endowment for music majors.
There will also be a food drive at the concert in support of the South Plains Food Bank. Attendees are encouraged to donate a non-perishable food item.

Winston will perform a wide array of pieces from R&B piano and Vince Guaraldi’s “Peanuts” pieces, and he will also perform on the Hawaiian Slack Key guitar.
