Peter Schoenke Discusses Legality of Fantasy Sports In Texas [INTERVIEW]

Friday on The Chad Hasty Show, Peter Schoenke, Chairman of the Fantasy Sports Trade Association, joined the show via telephone to talk about the legal issues surrounding 'fantasy sports'. Representative Myra Crownover (R) of District 64 has asked Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton to review the issue to determine whether or not fantasy sports is gambling.

While talking about why the issue is drawing so much attention, Schoenke said,

The price of success is that it's drawn a lot of scrutiny from regulators and legislators who, who I think don't really understand, you know, what the hobby's all about. And, you know at first glance they think it's gambling when it's not.
