Here are just a few things in Chad’s Pile that you will hear on Lubbock’s First News this morning. Give Chad your feedback on steaming topics.
1. Rick Perry rethinking 2012
In a surprise to absolutely no one, Texas Governor Rick Perry is reportedly rethinking his plans not to seek higher office. Perry’s top strategist admits that Perry is at least thinking about a bid for the GOP nomination. Would Rick Perry entering the race be a game changer?
2. Patrick v. Dewhurst
State Senator Dan Patrick unleashed on Texas Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst on Wednesday for the death of the TSA groping ban bill. Patrick questioned whether or not Dewhurst should be sent to the U.S. Senate. Republican v. Republican, this might get interesting.
3. Americans love Marriage!
According to a new Rasmussen survey, 85% of Americans are satisfied with their marriage. 56% of those surveyed said their marriage was excellent while 26% said good. How would you rate your marriage? If you call in, we can give you a different name.
4. Feds to require black box data recordings on new cars
The Federal Government will be requiring that all new cars come with black box event recorders installed. How do you feel about this? Too much Big Brother? Is this a new way of getting to a possible mileage tax?
