Friday on The Chad Hasty Show, former Commissioner of the Texas General Land Office Jerry Patterson joined the broadcast to talk about his bid to unseat the current Commissioner George P. Bush.

Patterson and Hasty discussed the continued animosity over plans to modify the Alamo and relocate the Cenotaph, as well as other topics including his displeasure with the way the Land Office is being run by Bush.

Patterson said,

I'm extremely suspicious of those who want to remove monuments in light of current events and this retroactive cleansing and...attempts at politically correct history.
