Nichelle Derricks, a former parole officer faces up to 20 years for fraud.

The Cedar Hill woman plead guilty to honest services wire fraud after accepting bribes from a man she supervised to not report his financial violations.

According to court documents 37-year-old Derricks was a Texas Department of Justice official when she and a male parolee had their improper relationship.

She received cash, gifts, furniture, food and valuables from the male parolee under her watch.

Tuesday the former officer admitted to failing to report violations of her parolee including prohibited financial transactions and traveling outside the state without approval.

The name and record of the male parolee have not yet been released.
