Opinion: Republican’s Budget Cave Empowers Obama to Drive Us off the Fiscal Cliff, and the Chinese Know it

Once again just like with the “grand bargain” of a few years ago, the Republicans caved to Obama’s demands and took nothing they wanted in return.

Except unlike last time, they didn’t even get a sequester, I guess Obama doesn’t think he can blame his own pretend-cut idea on the Republicans again.

Though, once again, for the second time in America’s history and the second time during Obama’s presidency, our nation’s credit rating has been downgraded.

Where the Republicans could have stood their ground and forced even a single baby step towards fiscal sanity, once again they folded to the my-way-or-the-highway Democrats in the senate and white house.

The Chinese rating agency was right when they stated that “The fundamental situation that the debt growth rate significantly outpaces that of fiscal income and gross domestic product remains unchanged”.

The reality that Democrats refuse to see of attend to is that spending has spiked so insanely in the last few years that without changes to the underlying causes and a reigning in of spending we are a fiscal ticking time bomb.

Unfortunately libs, no matter how much you believe you are forcing those around you to pay for ‘the right thing’ when you run out of everyone else’s money no one will get entitlements and everyone will be worse off.
